William "Bill" Reineking

William “Bill” Reineking, age 66 of Winnebago passed away Sunday December 10, 2023. A memorial service will be held 1PM Tuesday December 19 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth. Visitation will be Monday December 18 from 4-7PM at Patton Funeral Home. A private family burial will be at Center Creek Cemetery in Granada. Online condolences can be left at www.spencerowen.com

William Charles was born June 18, 1957 to William G. and Diana (Grant) Reineking in Winnebago. He graduated from Granada Huntley High School in 1975. He then attended Mankato Vocational School for auto mechanics and graduated from there in 1978. He married Jan Marie Ehlers on June 16, 1979. Together they raised their son William Andrew. Bill worked as an auto mechanic spending 41 years working for Hanson Tire, Dave Tire and Graham Tire before retiring in 2021. He loved riding his motorcycle every summer taking trips all over the US. He visited 27 states and Canada. He also enjoyed gardening and raising his chickens.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jan, son Andy (Kendra), grandson Travis, sister Julie (Royce) Abel, brothers Tim and Larre as well as many other extended family and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
