Ruthann Wegner, age 80, of Winnebago, died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at United Hospital District under Hospice Care in Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 9:30 am until the service time at the church. Funeral services for the celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017, at 10:30 AM, at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago, with Rev. William Sabol officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Wells. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com Ruthann was born August 3, 1937, in Faribault County (Dunbar Township), MN, the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Beckmann) Kruger. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith, at what is now the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Wells. She graduated from Wells High School on June 3, 1955. On June 12, 1955 she married the love of her life Normen Wegner. Together they had three children Scott, Ranae, and Gregg. She was a Den Mother for scouts, Sunday school teacher, and did MJOF the after school program at the church for 19 years. Ruthann is survived by her husband, Normen Wegner of Winnebago, daughter, Ranae (Jim) Kabisch of Willmar, son, Gregg (Susan) Wegner of Wells, grandson’s, Adam (Jill) Stensrud of St. Peter, Brandon (Michelle) Stensrud of Mankato, Jamey (Dani) Kabisch of Big Sky, MT, Jeremy Kabisch of Clara City, MN, granddaughter, Wendy (Mike) Sturlaugson of Lakeville, MN, great grandchildren, Hayden and Cody Stensrud, Erica And Jackson Stensrud, Bridger and Flynn Kabisch, Jordan and Summer Kabisch, and Wilson Sturlaugson. Ruthann was preceded in death by her son, Scott Wegner, parents, Elmer and Emma Kruger, and in-laws, Rudolph and Birdella Wegner.
