Puddy (Phyllis) Haroldson passed away peacefully on December, 16 2023 at Mapleton Community Home.  Puddy had been a lifelong member of the Amboy community and was involved in Lion’s Club, the Midnight Mother’s Club and the Amboy United Methodist Church.

Puddy loved gardening and nurturing beautiful things.  Her greatest source of joy were her 5 children, 13 grand-children and 23 great-grandchildren.  Grandma Puddy loved to host and feed her whole family at her home until her transition to the nursing home in 2019.

Puddy was proceeded in death by her parents Carlos and Helen (Busse) Ratcliffe, her brother Willis and his wife Edithe Ann (Carlson) Ratcliffe.  Her husband Harry has been waiting for her heavenly arrival since his passing in 1988.

Puddy is survived by her son Kevin and his wife Judy, her son Tim and his wife Karen, Her daughter Kim and her husband Duane Stock, her daughter Tina, and her daughter Leslie and her husband Dan Roline.

Her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss her unconditional love.  She was able to meet her most recent grandson just a few days before her passing.  Puddy also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family wishes to especially acknowledge niece Michelle Ratcliffe for her unending love and dedication to her Auntie Puddy, her dear friend Iris Stevens, and also the wonderful staff at Mapleton Community Home who loved her as if she was their own.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Amboy United Methodist Church at a date yet to be determined.
