Margie Brannick

Margie Brannick, age 83 of Winnebago passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Mayo Health System in Mankato. Funeral services will be Monday, October 24 at 11AM at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Burial will follow the luncheon at Fairview Cemetery in Dows, IA.

She was born February 28, 1939, in Hampton, IA the daughter of Raymond & Lydia (Mitchell) Miller.  She was a devoted wife and mother all the days of her life.  She met the love of her life Richard Brannick and married him on October 17, 1958 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA.  She stayed home a good portion caring & raising her children, working a few various jobs after they became old enough.  She had a love for cooking, baking and was famous for her potato salad & banana bread.  Spent time making afghans & tea towels for everyone in the family, which will be treasured for years to come.  Family always came first and she welcomed anyone in as family.  Her memory will live on in her devoted children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son, Tim (Kristi) Brannick of Zimmerman, MN, son, Paul (Jean) Brannick of Brooklyn Park, MN, daughter, Karla (Jon) Holmes of Wyoming, MN, son Jeff (Tanya Codere) of Crystal, MN, grandchildren; Gary, Angela, Robert, John, Richard (Alexia), Cassie, Rochelle, Samantha (Mat), Crystal, Adam, Malinda, Abby and 2 great grandsons; Bryan, Tomas.  Also, her beloved dog -Lily Mae. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brannick, son, Daniel (Diane) Brannick, parents Raymond and Lydia Miller, sisters; Evalena, LaDonna, Colleen, Nila Joann and Eunice, brothers; Claus, Kenneth, Donald, and Butch.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of breast cancer awareness month, memorials in Margie's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation would be appreciated.
