Lyndon Leslie Krause was born October 7, 1958 to Evelyn Iona (Canon) and Raymond Dudley Krause, in Winnebago where he joined Steven and David as the youngest of three sons. Lyndon graduated from Winnebago High School and continued his education at Mankato State earning a degree in business. He spent his time farming, working construction and was a master carpenter. He had various entrepreneurial ventures and served on the Board of Directors at the First Financial Bank in Winnebago. Lyndon was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winnebago where he held the position of treasurer for more than 20 years.
Lyndon married Lana Mitchell Presley on June 8, 1991 in Winnebago. He immediately became a proud father to Jason and Aaron Presley. On March 5, 1992, Lyndon and Lana welcomed their daughter, Amanda Olivia Krause, into the world.
Lyn was often seen driving one of his many Astro vans around town. He had a great sense of humor and was known as “Big X”- sporting his suspenders. Lyn’s legacy will live on as that of a generous man because he always looked for ways to bless others.
