Linda Diane Stauffer

Linda Diane Stauffer, age 66, of Winnebago, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Heartland Senior Living.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth with Rev. Robert Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Friday at Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Antrium Public Cemetery in Lewisville. Linda was born on November 6, 1952 in Madelia to Orie and Freida (Riewe) Davis. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville, and she graduated from Truman High School. Linda married Stanley E. Stauffer on November 27, 1971 at Zion Lutheran Church. She worked as a nursing assistant for over six years in Truman. Linda then worked at Custom Foods in Blue Earth, later Kerry Foods, for 14 years. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago.

Linda had a passion for horses, and she spend 30 years of her life breaking and riding them. She also enjoyed gambling and traveling to Las Vegas a few times each year. Linda loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley; daughters, Nichole Stauffer of Lewisville and Sandy Stauffer of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Janice (Ron) Baker of Lewisville; 4 grandchildren, John Bosshart of Winnebago, Jacob Bosshart of Lewisville, Joshua Bosshart of Lewisville, and Samantha Maine of Lewisville; and 1 great-granddaughter, Emma.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Clair Davis.
