Judith Elizabeth Carson, age 74, of Delavan, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the Mayo Health System in Mankato.
Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. Visitation will be held at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home from 5-7pm on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Private family burial will take place at Rice Lake Cemetery in the spring.
Judith was born in Isanti on November 13, 1945 to Carl and Florence (Stephan) Voss. She attended and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. In July of 1969 she married Kermit William “Billy” Carson in Mountain Lake.
Judith was a member of the Bass Lake Community Church. Her hobbies included watching MN sports, bowling, baking, crocheting, collecting barbies and solar lights, and of course, collecting pictures of family. She also enjoyed having coffee with friends and family.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandkids, until her great grandchildren came along.
Judith is survived by her two children, Kenny (Debra) Carson of Winnebago and LeAnn (Brad) Schwarz of Sandborn, Indiana; brother, Steve Voss; sister, Ruthy Olson; grandchildren, Cary (Evan) Treanor of Hampton, IA and Tylor (Morgan) Schwarz of Farmington; great grandchildren, Eric and Carson Treanor; step grandchildren, Dominick (Jessica) Paonessa of FL and Johnathon Paonessa of MN; step great grandchildren, Dominick Bo and Juliet Marie; and many more nieces and nephews, close friends, and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill in 1977; parents and grandparents; brothers, Marvin and Ronald; and sisters, Mary Ann and Karen.
