John "Jack" Randall

John "Jack" Randall, age 79 of Fairmont and formerly of Winnebago and Amboy passed away Thursday January 9, 2020 at Lakeview Healthcare Center in Fairmont. 

A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 14 at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago at 2pm with Rev. Daren Barnett officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and burial will be at Basey Cemetery at a later date.

John "Jack" Randall was born on April 19, 1940 in Winnebago township to Carlos Randall and Hildegard (Pascke) Randall.

Jack was a hard worker all his life. He was not content to sit still unless he had a fishing pole in his hand. Jack lived on a farm by Amboy until moving to Winnebago when the farm was sold due to the owner's death. Jack worked at MRCI. Jack moved into Lakeview Methodist Care Center in 2016 after suffering a broken hip. While there Jack enjoyed visits from the therapy dogs, music programs and hymn sings or just sitting in his room watching the good old westerns.

Jack is survived by his sister Mardell of Fairmont and many friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents.
