Gary Laborde, 53, died at 10:30 a.m., Monday March 16, 2020, in Albert Lea, MN

Gary was born September 9, 1966, in Mankato, MN. He was a well traveled man. Lived in many states during his life. He lived his life on his terms. We could never keep him in one place too long. He had his own business as a handy man, helping the elderly and anyone that needed a little assistance.

He volunteered his time and services to the homeless shelter and many other stores in Wells, MN.

He is survived by his mother and father, Neva and Harry Laborde, Winnebago, MN; one brother, Donald Laborde, Wells, MN; two sisters, Susan Jay, Colorado Springs, CO and Penny LaBorde English, Madelia, MN; two nephews, Ryan Jay and Donovan (DJ) Laborde, 3 nieces, Ashley Buhl, Alizabeth English and Morgan English, and his best friend and fiancé, Katherine Ellison and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A small family get together to celebrate Gary's life will be held at his parents’ home in Winnebago, MN Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 11am to 4pm.
