Eldon Scott, age 90 of Winnebago passed away Thursday June 8, 2023 at Parker Oaks in Winnebago. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Winnebago at 11AM Tuesday June 13. Online condolences can be left at www.spencerowen.com

Eldon was born June 5, 1933 to Guy and Elizabeth (Bursaw) Scott in Fairmont. He lived several places throughout his life, including Texas, Arizona and Utah and settled in Winnebago over 50 years ago. He held several jobs in that time as well, from helping his dad build businesses, having a lawn mowing service with his son Paul and driving forklift. When he wasn’t busy working, he enjoyed wood working, roller skating, drawing and always had a big garden to tend to. He was always friendly to everyone, taking a walk around the block always took a lot longer than it should as he would have to stop and visit with everyone. He was always the outgoing person who loved to joke around.

He is survived by his sons; Paul of Winnebago and Nathan of Fairmont.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judy, sister and brother-in-law Guylet and Bob Germaine.
