Eddie Bruellman

Eddie Bruellman, 34, of Blue Earth passed away peacefully at his home on July 29, 2024. He was born on February 16, 1990 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Ed and LaDonna (Baker) Bruellman. Eddie was raised and lived most of his life in Frost, where he graduated high school in 2009. Eddie dedicated many hours working at Step Incorporated and enjoyed it very much. He was a joyful soul who always wore a smile, no matter the circumstances. His positive outlook on life and his unwavering happiness endeared him to all those who surrounded him.

Eddie loved music; he especially enjoyed the band “Kiss” and attended two of their concerts. His favorite Kiss character was Demon. Eddie also was a big “Vikings” fan and had a chance to visit some of their training camps. Eddie had a profound appreciation for life and unconditional love for people and animals. He found happiness in the simple things and enjoyed being involved in everything around him. He was a very outgoing young man and spent a lot of time outside, strolling in his wheel chair enjoying neighborhoods scenery. Eddie shared a special bond with his father, Ed Bruellman, and cherished the moments spent on road trips with him, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Eddie’s strong character and genuine nature left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Eddie’s love for life, indomitable spirit, and infectious smile will always be remembered. 

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon Bruellman, Ronnie Krieger, Lloyd  and Lois Baker; and his uncle, Leroy Baker.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Ed Bruellman; mother, LaDonna (Paul) Grimes; siblings, Jessica (Geof) Taylor, Tanya Bruellman, Crystal (Mike) Wayner, Monica Bruellman, and Justin Bruellman; grandmother, Naoma Krieger; and many nieces and a nephew.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, Minnesota, with Pastor Alan Dicks officiating. Eddie’s family will greet guests at a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.
