Winnebago July 22, 2010 George W. Theuer George William Theuer, age 82 of Winnebago, died on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at his residence in Winnebago. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winnebago, with Father Leo Koppala officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago and continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. www.spencerowen.com George William Theuer was born at Webster, South Dakota on September 23, 1927 to Karl and Catherine (Fleischkaker) Theuer. George enjoyed fishing, spending time at the lake and gardening. He was very proud of his family and loved them all very much. George is survived by his wife, Helena Theuer of Winnebago; daughters, Debra (David) Springer of Winnebago; Mary Jo (Mike) Eayrs of Green Bay WI; sons, Allen (Mary) Theuer of Hurst, TX; Mark (Joan) Theuer of Rochester; John (Jane) Theuer of Glastonbury CT; brother, Eugene Theuer of Baudette; 9 grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Remiger, Matthew Eayrs, Eric (Amanda) Theuer, Elizabeth Eayrs, Jamie Theuer, Brian Eayrs, Nathan Theuer, Nick Theuer and Ali Theuer, 3 great grandchildren, Makayla Remiger, Taylor Remiger and Ashlyn Cook. George was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry and Karl Theuer, sister, Katherine Siers; and one grandson, Lee Springer.
