Bruce Maurice Hartman

Winnebago October 9, 2009 Bruce Maurice Hartman Bruce M. Hartman, age 86, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at his farm home. Bruce was born on July 8, 1928 at Winnebago, the second son of Horace W. and Anna (Weber) Hartman. He grew up in the Basey Community and attended country school. He graduated from Winnebago High School in 1942. Bruce worked with his father on the farm until 1952, and then he married Ruth Muir, the two then moved to their farm near Huntley. All of his working years Bruce loved farming, the machines that helped him, and the livestock that filled his barn. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two brothers, Warren (Shirley) Hartman of Winnebago and Eugene (La Jean) Hartman of Mankato. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harry Hartman. A memorial services will be held at a later date. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago is assisting the family.
