Alexia Sybil Haroldson
Alexia Haroldson, age 84, of Winnebago, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Parker Oaks Care Center in Winnebago. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church in Amboy, with Pastor Todd Substad officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Lake Cemetery, Amboy. Alexia was born July 30, 1924, in Caledonia, Minnesota the daughter of Herman and Ida (Shiltz) Saas. Alexia was raised and educated in Caledonia. Alexia married her first Husband John Hall in , the family then traveled and moved around the country before his death in 1957. Alexia moved to Amboy in 1964 after her marriage to Harland "Holly" Haroldson. The two lived in Amboy and Winnebago before his death in 1994. In January of 2009 Alexia moved to Parker Oaks Care Center where she enjoyed word find puzzles and crocheting.
Alexia is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Chuck) Royce of Winnebago, her sons, John (Joyce) Hall of Herford, AZ, and Herman "Bill" (Mary-Sue) Hall of Trenton, KY, one daughter-in-law, Mary Hall, 8 Grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Alexia was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son Eugene Hall, and one grandson John Hall
