Lisa Kay Hefner

A memorial visitation for Lisa K. Hefner, 52, Blue Earth, formerly of Winnebago will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 5-7:30 pm at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home, Winnebago. Private inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Lisa died on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home in Blue Earth. Lisa Kay Skjervold was born on July 8, 1963 in Winnebago, MN to Orvis and Gwen (Tillia) Skjervold. She attended school in Winnebago. On July 17, 1981, Lisa was united in marriage to Dale Hefner in Fairmont. She worked at Mc Donald’s and various nursing homes. Lisa was mainly a homemaker, raising her children and helping on the farm. She enjoyed bowling, darts, riding pedal bike and motorcycles. She also liked arts and crafts. Lisa died from complications of Diabetes. Lisa is survived by two daughters, Ashley Hefner, Blue Earth, MN, Amber Hefner, Delavan, MN; her mother, Gwen Skjervold, Winnebago; two grandchildren, Travis Hefner-Reineking and Breanna Hefner-Roggeman; one sister, Kirsten Skjervold (special friend-Ken Sullivan), Lake Crystal, MN; one brother, Michael Whitlow, Winnebago, MN, one brother-in-law, Donald (Sharon) Hefner, Frost, MN; one sister-in-law, Mary Holland, Eau Claire, WI; numerous nieces and nephews and her cat, Shadow. She was preceded in death by her husband; father; one son, Justin; one brother, Jeff Skjervold and her grandparents.
