Scott Hatfield, 49, of Winnebago passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. A Celebration of Life for Scott Hatfield will be held at 11:00 Monday, March 21, 2016 at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 121 1st Ave. SE, Winnebago, with Rev. William Sabol officiating. Scott Allen Hatfield was born February 27, 1967 in Winnebago to Rose (Carroll) and Eldon Hatfield. He attended middle and high school in Colby, KS. He moved back to Minnesota when he was 18, where he worked at Tony Downs in Madelia, Hawkeye Foodservice of Fairmont, Hodgeman Drainage of Fairmont, and most recently worked at Tafco for 24 years as a Welder and painter. On November 11, 1995 he married Dawn Sorenson in Fairmont to this union they had two daughters. He enjoyed racing, playing pool, camping, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys, he also enjoyed working on cars with his dad, and also loved going to car shows and putting as what he called his baby (Truck) in the car shows and spending time with his 2 pride and joys his grand babies He is survived by his wife, Dawn (Sorenson), daughters, Kayla Hatfield (Tanner Nowak) and Larissa Hatfield (Jordan Anderson); Grandson Brody Hatfield; Granddaughter Brexley Anderson; and parents, Rose Hatfield, Levant, KS and Eldon (Barb) Hatfield, Fairmont, brothers Kevin Hatfield, Parkersburg, WV; Travis (Brandi) Hatfield, Truman; Cameron (Jessica) Hatfield, Waseca, MN; Tyler Hatfield, Fairmont; sisters Lisa Hatfield, Aurora, CO; Tanya (Scott) Harry, Lincoln, NE; Tracy Hatfield, Colby KS; Katie (Casey) Hanson, Fairmont, MN; sister-in-law Dulce (Everett) Pettit, Winnebago; brother-in-law Brandon (Terilynn) Henschke, Mora, mother-in-law Donna Bates, Bricelyn; father-in-law Radley (Donna) Sorenson, Amboy; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
