REBECCA “BECKY” LOU LANGFORD, age 65, of Amboy, died Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Truman Senior Living.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home, 345 6th Ave SE in Winnebago. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery, Mapleton, MN on Sunday August 23, 2015. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com
She was born March 30, 1950, at Granite Falls, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Darlene (Foss) Rettig. She attended Granite Falls Elementary, and Fairmont High School. She was married to Wayne Percy Langford on February 8, 1969 in Fairmont.
She enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, playing cards and board games with family and friends, dancing to her jukeboxes, painting and selling crafts, but most of all she LOVED spending time with her family, and was very proud of her grandchildren. She and Wayne were members of the ’Brothers of the Third Wheel’ trike organization and loved traveling with both the organization and other friends and family on the trike.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Langford of Amboy, son, Troy (Melisia) Langford of Swea City, IA, daughter, Kalisha (Dave Johnson) Langford of Mankato, brother, Marty (Carol) Rettig of Sherburn, sister, Pat (Scott) Morrison of Palmetto, FL, three grandchildren, Brittany (fiancé Jake Meinders) Langford of Buffalo Center, IA, Kayla Langford of Swea City, IA, and Eric Braddock of Mankato.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jackie Bettin, and niece, Tammie Bettin.
