Rev. Robert Noblitt, Jr., age 90, of Winnebago, died Sunday, March 1, 2015, at his home in Winnebago. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church in Winnebago, with Rev. Thomas Butler officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winnebago. He was born April 30, 1924, at Okmulgee, OK, the son of Robert and Henrietta (Meester) Noblitt Sr. On March 6, 1943 he joined the United States Army serving during WWII as a Forward Artillery Observer. After his service he returned home, and on July 6, 1946 at Neodesha, KS he married Zella Marie Mason. He was a man of God serving for 50 years in the ministry.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Noblitt of Winnebago, son, Kenneth (Becky) Noblitt of Cherokee, IA, daughter, Ann (Floyd) Kusie of Coon Rapids, sister, Pat (Bill) Tucker of Independence, KS, sister, Nancy Brennen of Frisco, TX, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 foster children & their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
