KEVIN H. SLETTEN, age 59, of Delavan, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 1, 2015, at his home. Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 10:30 AM, at Bear Lake Concordia Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, with Rev. Daphne Hamborg, officiating. Private burial will be in Bear Lake Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN. Visitation time will be from 1:00pm 3:00pm Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Spencer Owen FH, 345 6th Ave SE in Winnebago, and 1 hour before the service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com He was born June 21, 1955, at Albert Lea, MN, the son of Henry & Anna Mae (Hodges) Sletten. He was a 1974 graduate from Albert Lea High School. He married DeAnn E. Nelson January 25, 1975 in Albert Lea. Kevin worked as a licensed electrician with different companies for over 25 years. He enjoyed many family vacations, boating, camping, fishing, riding his Harley, remodeling family projects, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, DeAnn Sletten of Delavan, son, Jeremy (Jolene) Sletten of Jamestown, NY, son, Bob (LaVonne) Sletten of Forest City, IA, brother, Larry (Sandy) Sletten of Twin Lakes, MN, sister, Linda (Rod) Tovar of Albert Lea, MN, sister, Kathy (Dennis) Christenson of Albert Lea, 4 grandchildren, Makenzie, Blake, Cadence, and Carrigan Sletten. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Steven, father-in-law, DeWain Nelson, and brother-in-law Douglas Nelson
