SUSAN DIAZ, age 60, of Eagle Lake formerly of Winnebago, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 02:00 PM, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, with Rev. John Michel officiating. Burial will be in Basey Methodist Cemetery, Winnebago. Visitation time will be from 1 hour before the service, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home, 345 6th Ave SE in Winnebago. She is survived by her niece, Kaylene(Jamie) Kollos, nephew, Samuel Jahnke, her brother, James Petersen of Albert Lea, her sister, Lucille Edwards of St. Paul, her sister, Marsha (Rodney) Anderson of Blue Earth, her sister, Janet (Edward) Patterson of Delavan, her sister, Mary Mealman of Estherville, IA, her sister, Carol (Sam) Armstrong of Mankato, sister-in-laws Hazel Petersen of Bricelyn, Peggy (Joe) Petersen-Stimpert, Kita Petersen of New Ulm, stepdaughters Barb Roessler(Jeff) of Winnebago and Brenda Baxton(Wally) of River falls, WI, numerous nieces and nephew, 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, brothers, Gary, William, Barry, Mark Petersen, infant brother Sheldon Petersen, sisters, Diana Lawrence, Shelia Petersen, great-granddaughter Jasmine Johnson, and parents.
