He enjoyed the history of World War II, square-dancing, bowling, flying, fishing, hunting, and playing pool. Shorty will be deeply missed by his wife, Janet; daughters Carol (Dan) Humburg of Brookings, SD, Sharon (John) Leiferman of White, SD, Pat Murry of Madison Lake, MN, and son, Ken Kiehm of Minneapolis; grandsons, Jared and Jens Murry, Jacob and Joshua Humburg, and Matthew Leiferman; sister-in-law, Patti McCreary; his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
