James Milo Lloyd, age 75, of Winnebago, formerly of Amboy, died Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Mayo Heatlh Systems in Mankato. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 10:30 AM, at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church in Amboy, with Rev. Todd Substad officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Lake Cemetery, Amboy. James was born September 6, 1936, in Watonwan County, MN the son of Ralph J. and Ima P. (Buckmister) Lloyd. He attended Amboy Schools and served in the U.S. Army. He was married to Marcia Widmann on December 20, 1959 in Lewisville. James was an iron worker with Fuller Construction for many years and with the Ironworkers Local 512. He retired in 1994 and did handyman work for several years and enjoyed hunting.
James is survived by his wife, Marcia Lloyd of Winnebago, his son, Dan Lloyd of Vancouver, Washington, his son, Mike (Karen) Lloyd of Winnebago, his daughter, Vicki (Derek) Oldfather of Shakopee, his brothers: Arlo (Katie) Lloyd, Dean (Nancy) Lloyd, Dale (Jackie) Lloyd, Jerry Lloyd, Owen (Beverly) Lloyd, John (Lynn) Lloyd, Arlen (Dawn) Lloyd, his sisters: Lois Hartman, Aletha Zacharias, Shirley (Tony) D'Angelo, Jessica (Leonard) Kijenski, Linda (Bob) Nesbitt, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Nyla Sauter and brothers, Tom & Joe Lloyd.
